Okay, here’s what I’m confused about: During Teikou days, Akashi wasn’t like that yet, and tbh, the other characters weren’t that emphasized on their more distinct traits yet. So I’ll roll with the characteristics of the boys at that time.
Momoi was being odd to say the least. She was usually bouncing all over the place, ready to help and take notes. Today, she kept sighing and huffing at everything, even glaring at the basketball once or twice. “You okay?” You had asked earlier.
She merely responded with a weak smile, “I’m fine.”
After practice, you were helping her clean up when she tripped. She nearly screamed because this was officially the worst day ever. Then you were hit by an idea. “Momoi-san, are you alright? You should be more careful. I don’t want you getting hurt.”
Momoi blinked at you in confusion, at your sudden change in demeanor. “What? Why are you talking that way?”
“I’m not quite sure what you’re talking about but I hope you’re alright.” You brought her hand up to your lips and kissed it.
She paused again before bursting out laughing. “Oh my goodness, ___! You’re being Akashi!”
“Mhm,” you nodded then thought about it. “What about this?” You flipped your hair over your shoulder after sashaying away from Momoi then whipped around and grinned, your fingers formed a v on your chin. “Don’t I look fabulous today? It’s no surprise that the girls follow me around.”
Momoi laughed, “That’s Kise-kun! I know!”
“Oh! Oh!” You did a pissed off, bored face and held up your open palm. “Your luck today is running out. You better start running before your luck finishes off.”
“Midorima-kun!” Momoi yelled out in excitement. You could see the sadness disappearing from your eyes and sighed in relief. She propped up in front of you, sitting cross-legged as you continued.
You acted sleepy and moved your mouth to pretend chew. “Nom nom nom. I need more sweets. Nom nom nom. You’re all so tiny. Nom nom nom. I’ll eat you instead.”
The pink-haired girl couldn’t even reign in her laughter anymore. “Mukkun!”
“Basketball. I love basketball. I’m going to marry my basketball.” You hugged the basketball you had in your hands close to your face and rubbed your face against it. “Such a good basketball.”
“That’s easy! Dai-chan!”
“And last but not least…” Momoi blinked and then you were gone. What? She looked around then behind only to find you looming behind her with the creepiest look. “Boo.” Letting out a shriek, she backed away laughing from you.
“Kuroko!” She complained.
“Yes?” Kuroko’s lips twitched in amusement. That was when you realized that the two of you had an audience. The Generation of Miracles were standing around, raising eyebrows at the two of you.
“I don’t want to marry a basketball!”
“I think we have to come up with a suitable punishment for our two managers, don’t we?”
“W-Wai!”
